Soybeans or soya beans are an important component of Asian diets and have been consumed for thousands of years

They are a potent source of plant-based protein and offer many other beneficial plant compounds.

Description

How to use soybeans:

  1. Before cooking on a stove top, you will need to soak the beans for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  2. You will need to cook soybeans in a 1:3 ratio with water. So, for every 1 cup of soybeans, you will need 3 cups of water.
  3. Bring water to boil in a large cook pot, add soybeans, cover and simmer for around 3 hours or until tender. Soybeans will roughly double in size.
