Shipping, Returns & Refunds
At The Grain Grocer, we pride ourselves on providing the highest quality products, and at all times we aim to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.
If you have changed your mind about your purchase of packaged items, we are pleased to offer you a refund or exchange provided that:
- You contact us within 30 days of the purchase;
- You are able to provide proof of purchase. This could be a receipt or an online proof of purchase.
- The item is in re-saleable condition, including its original packaging (if any), is unused and as sold.
Please note that change of mind returns are not available for the following items:
- Unpackaged food items, i.e bulk foods.
- Perishable foods
- Gift vouchers
- Special orders
Other Returns – Consumer Guarantees
If you are not satisfied with the quality, the items is not as described or the item has a fault, we will happily refund or exchange the item.
The Australian Consumer Law protects consumers by giving them certain guarantees when they buy goods and services. These are known as “Consumer Guarantees”. For further information, please refer to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission website.
You must provide proof of purchase to make a claim and The Grain Grocer reserves the right to decline an exchange, refund or repair where a fault is caused by misuse or neglect.
We do however ask that you email us within 24 hours of receiving your goods and we may ask for photographs of the product. Once we’ve verified your claim we’ll either send out a replacement product or issue a complete refund of the purchase price.
At The Grain Grocer, we endeavour to keep shipping costs as low as possible. We have a standard shipping cost of $9.70 within Tasmania.
Packaging & Dispatching
We always work towards dispatching orders within as quickly as possible. We use local transport providers. Orders for next day shipping need to be received by 1pm.
