Marshmallow root tea unfortunately does not taste like marshmallows. The Greek name, Althea, literally means “to heal” as many years ago it was used to treat a variety of ailments and conditions.
The taste and aroma of the root is quite neutral, woody and floral.
Description
It is said to soothe sore throats and coughs, withhold anti-inflammatory properties and aid digestion. It can even be called a beauty product as it may benefit the skin and hair!

Suggestions: Add 1-2 tablespoons per 250ml of hot (70-80 degree) water and steep for 3-4 minutes. Strain and serve hot.
Storage: Store below 180C in a dry place, out of light.
